The Majestic Diversity In Wine Scholarship
We are delighted to announce the launch of the Majestic Diversity In Wine Scholarship - starting this Autumn.
This is a no-strings-attached programme, set up with the aim of trying to help further diversity and inclusivity in the wine industry. Majestic plays a vital role in training and developing the wine pros of the future through our Learning and Development team. Therefore, we’ll be opening up 24 places to study for your WSET Level 2, with no costs or obligation to work for us afterward.
The scheme is open to anyone from a Black, Asian, Minority Ethinic, or diverse background, and has been created with the insight of colleagues and key members of the wine trade.
Given the current situation with COVID-19, the courses will be run online - however, all materials, samples, glassware, and video courses will be delivered to your home.
How will it work?
Numbers: Based on four cohorts of six candidates (24 places)
How: a series of 6 weekly two-hour webinars hosted on Zoom/Google Webinar
When: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings from 5.45 pm to 7.45 pm, commencing the second week in November, with the exam taking place in the third week of December
Trainer: Majestic L&D team (plus contributions from across the wine industry and Mags Janjo).
Our aim is to give people from different backgrounds the opportunity to discover the amazing world of wine and give you the insight and confidence to join the industry in the future.
Please note, this advert may close early if all places have been allocated before the deadline.
